BKK fleet converted to low-floor buses
Mayor Gergely Karácsony announced on social media that another 65 air-conditioned Mercedes-Benz Citaro K low-floor buses will be put into service in Budapest in the second half of 2025.
This purchase, which affects around 8% of the bus fleet, is a significant step in the fleet renewal programme of Budapest Public Transport (BKV). Over the past five years, the fleet has been completely converted to low-floor buses.
