Cody Dennison Joins NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Surprise Team

Cody Dennison, the Alabama driver, has joined the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for the 2025 season with Reaume Brothers Racing, via TobyChristie.com.

After an impressive performance in the ARCA Menards Series, Dennison is set to move from full-time to a part-time role. His debut will unfold at the Martinsville Speedway on March 28, where he will be behind the wheel of the No. 2 Ford F-150.

Dennison’s path into professional racing is an inspiring story. Growing up in the small town of Hokes Bluff, Dennison did not have the opportunity to carve out a path in competitive racing during his early years due to financial constraints. His introduction to racing began only a few years ago, and since then, he has made long strides.

His tenure in the Grand National Super Series, where he earned 15 top-ten finishes and achieved a place in the sixth position in standings, became the starting point of his professional career.

In 2024, Dennison gained prominence in the ARCA Menards Series, where he competed with teams Fast Track Racing, Wayne Peterson Motorsports, and Costner-Weaver Motorsports.

Achieving two top-10 finishes, with a standout seventh place at Salem Speedway, he solidified his reputation as a promising driver in the series. On top of this, Dennison also took part in the ARCA Menards Series East, securing top-ten finishes at races like those at Five Flags Speedway and Flat Rock Speedway.

Reaume Brothers Racing is becoming a well-established team in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, having entered the league in 2018. Founded by John Reaume and operated by his sons, the team has made plenty of progress.

One example includes the impressive performances seen in events such as Daytona and Eldora. Despite issues like the 2023 fire incident in their shop, Reaume Brothers Racing has shown remarkable tenacity.

Cody Dennison expressed his feelings about this jump:

“I’m so grateful and shocked this is actually happening. I’m excited to get a feel for the trucks and to work with Josh. I’m really happy my sponsors were on board with the idea and plan to learn a lot to build this program.”

Dennison is one of two so far confirmed drivers for the No. 2 Ford F-150, joining forces with fellow driver Tyler Tomassi. The team owner, Josh Reaume, commended Dennison:

“Having run ARCA with Lawless Alan in 2024, we noticed that Cody at times was able to carry his equipment to impressive results and we’re excited to see what he can do in our trucks. He’s proven he can pick up on things quickly running a variety of tracks. We’ve put together a strategic schedule for him, so it should be fun.”

The 2025 season of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series comes with an expanded schedule that includes 25 races, some of which will be held at new tracks like Rockingham and Watkins Glen among others. This remake of the framework presents an invigorating challenge for drivers like Dennison who are ready to demonstrate their abilities with this added excitement.
