Bills’ Dion Dawkins Pitches ‘Alliance’ With Ravens to Take Down Chiefs
Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins has a plan to take down the Kansas City Chiefs: offer an “alliance” to the Baltimore Ravens.

Speaking to Newsweek Sports’ James Brizuela, Dawkins spoke about the Bills’ struggle to defeat the wildly dominant Chiefs.
“Tension is there, great competitors know other great competitors,” the Bills OT said. “We compete at a high level and I respect that, I respect that. Like, the Chiefs….man, F ya’ll, like ya’ll have knocked us out every year.”
Continuing, Dawkins reached out to AFC rivals the Ravens, saying that it was basically up to their two teams to take down the Chiefs.
“Ravens should feel the same way,” Dawkins said. “Because when it comes down it, it’s them or us or us or them to take out the Chiefs. But I respect it.”

Dawkins has been a key player on an offensive line that did an exceptional job protecting quarterback Josh Allen this season. Allen was sacked just 14 times, the fewest of any quarterback who has played all 16 games in 2024. Along with pass protection, Dawkins and the offensive line helped block for a rushing attack that features James Cook, the league leader in rushing touchdowns with 15.
However, in the AFC Championship Game, the Bills couldn’t capitalize on their opportunities and made mistakes across all three phases.
Allen, who had made significant strides in reducing turnovers this season, mishandled the ball several times in the first half. But the biggest issue came on defense, which gave up too many early points and struggled to get off the field.
The game ultimately ended with a failed final drive that couldn’t come together.
Despite falling short to the Chiefs once again, the Bills’ mindset is to learn from this season’s successes and setbacks and use that knowledge to build a stronger team for next year.
“We are not giving in, we’re not,” said Bills head coach Brandon Beane. “We’re frustrated, we want to win, and all that’s doing is making our chip bigger. We’ll reset, recalibrate, and not make any rash decisions. Over the next few weeks and months, we’ll shape what the next team will look like.”
Who knows? Maybe those plans could involve the Ravens.
