Lakers Reportedly Didn’t Tell LeBron James About Anthony Davis Trade
The Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks shocked the sports world by swapping star Luka Doncic and Anthony Davis. But it seems that the team didn’t make co-star LeBron James aware that a deal was taking place.
According to ESPN insider Dave McMenamin, the Lakers didn’t tell James of the trade beforehand.
“LeBron James learned of the Davis-Doncic trade after the Knicks game when it broke while he was out to dinner with his family, sources close to James told ESPN. James was surprised by the news, is processing it and had no idea it was in the works, sources said.”
