The Cleveland Cavaliers are on fire, boasting the NBA’s best record at 49-10 and riding a nine-game winning streak. Their most impressive victory yet came on Friday night against the reigning champion Boston Celtics, where they overcame a massive 25-3 early deficit to storm back for a 123-116 win.
If there were any lingering doubts about Cleveland’s legitimacy, that comeback silenced them. Donovan Mitchell put on a show, dropping 41 points and five assists, while Darius Garland added 20 points and seven assists, proving the Cavs are a serious force heading into the final stretch of the season.

The Blazers, meanwhile, have been solid this season despite not much being expected out of them in 2024-25. Portland enters Sunday’s game on a four-game win streak and with a 27-33 record to place it 12th in the Western Conference and just four games out of a play-in tournament spot.
Most recently, Portland defeated the Brooklyn Nets 121-102 behind 25 points, four rebounds, and five assists from up-and-coming guard Shaedon Sharpe, as well as 23 points and eight rebounds from Dalano Banton. Toumani Camara also had a great showing, finishing the win with 19 points.
