Fact
We previously reported that 4iG S&D aims to become a key player in Hungary’s growing space industry by developing and launching a Hungarian communications satellite between 2028 and 2032. The satellite will be equipped with six high-resolution cameras and two radars to monitor the Earth, and will be produced and tested at the newly built REMTECH Space Technology Center in Martonvásár (near Budapest). The €24.8 million investment will not only strengthen Hungary’s satellite manufacturing capabilities but also create at least 85 high value-added jobs.
