Ashton Jeanty has officially been selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Las Vegas Raiders. Jeanty will take on a cornerstone role for a franchise that is extremely excited to have him on board.
Jeanty is one of the best running back prospects to come out of college in recent memory. He nearly eclipsed Barry Sanders’ all-time NCAA single-season rushing record this past season, but ended up having to settle for second after gaining 2,601 yards on the ground for Boise State. Jeanty also led the nation in rushing touchdowns with 29 and finished second in the Heisman Trophy voting.
Jeanty will now look to become a star at the next level. As one of the first players off the board, he has all the intangibles to be a successful pro, but he now must live up to the pressure that first-round picks face in year one.
