2025 Truist Championship: Full $20 million PGA Tour Payout

On Sunday, Sepp Straka joined Rory McIlroy as the only two players to win multiple tournaments in 2025. He outlasted Shane Lowry to win the Truist Championship by two shots with a 16-under overall score.

Lowry trailed by one and had a shot to put on the pressure, but made his second bogey in three holes to record his second runner-up finish of the season. It was heartbreaking to lose as Lowry did, but it gave him his fourth Top 10 of the year.

Meanwhile, Straka had a slight hiccup at 10 and 11 when he dropped back-to-back shots, but his birdie on the par-5 15th gave him the advantage. He made three pars to come in, enough to give him his fourth career PGA Tour victory.

With the Truist Championship being a Signature Event, the elevated purse was $20 million. The former Georgia Bulldog won $3.6 million and 700 FedEx Cup points. It pushed him from No. 4 to No. 2 in the season-long race.

Lowry tied with Justin Thomas for second place at 14-under overall. Both will take home $1,7600,000. Patrick Cantlay, Jacob Bridgeman and Tommy Fleetwood tied for fourth place to win $826,666 each.

Rory McIlroy and Keith Mitchell were T7 with two more players to earn $603,250 each. The Northern Irishman earned his fifth top 5 of the season at Philadelphia Cricket Club and will head into the second major with a lot of momentum.

With his check from the Truist Championship, McIlroy sits at $104,919,248 in career earnings, slowly inching towards Tiger Woods in the top spot.
