Hollywood Star Zendaya Returns to Budapest, Fueling Talk of Dune Sequel
Zendaya at a coffee shop in downtown Budapest
Hollywood actress Zendaya is back in Budapest for the possible filming of the third installment of the Dune movie franchise.
Yesterday she made a surprise appearance at a downtown café. The surprise visit came shortly after Zendaya appeared at the Neroli luxury perfumery on Andrássy Avenue in Budapest on Saturday.
Although it has not been officially confirmed, Zendaya is believed to be in Hungary for the production of Dune: Part Three. The franchise has a strong connection to Budapest, with scenes from both previous instalments filmed in the capital. Based on recent industry reports, the third film has now begun production, and Hungary is once again expected to play a major role as a filming location.
Zendaya, who plays Chani in the series, previously spent significant time in Budapest while shooting Dune: Part Two. Her recent appearance in the city has fueled fresh speculation among fans and local media about the sci-fi saga continuing its production in Hungary. The movie stars Timothée Chalamet, Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson, and Léa Seydoux.
