Caitlin Clark Receives Major Injury News Before Fever-Aces Matchup
The Indiana Fever have not had the kind of season they were hoping to have. Due to quite a few different factors, including Caitlin Clark’s injury woes, the team has failed to live up to the hype that surrounded them.
Coming out of the All-Star break, the Fever lost to the New York Liberty. It was their second straight loss to the Liberty, with the first coming in the final game before the break.
Following the latest loss, Indiana now holds a 12-12 record. The team no longer appears to be a championship contender unless something changes.

Clark has been missing time recently due to injuring her groin once again. There is no telling when she will return to the court.

Fans were hoping that her return could come on Thursday evening against the Las Vegas Aces. A new update has shared whether or not that will happen.
According to Scott Agness of Fieldhouse Files, Clark will not be making her return against the Aces.
“No surprise, but Caitlin Clark (right groin) is officially ruled out for Thursday vs Aces,” Agness wrote on X. “The team didn’t practice today, but held film + treatment.”
Out of the 24 games the Fever have played this season, Clark has only been able to participate in 13 of them. Her numbers have been way down this season, which is another reflection of the fact that she simply has never been able to get healthy.

In the 13 games she has played this season, Clark has averaged 16.5 points per game to go along with 8.8 assists, five rebounds, and 1.6 steals, while shooting 36.7 percent from the floor and 27.9 percent from the three-point line.
After starting the season as one of the top candidates to win the WNBA MVP award, Clark’s second season has been a disappointment. There is still time for her to get healthy and play up to her full ability, but getting healthy has proven to be a major challenge.
Hopefully, there will be some positive news to share about Clark in the near future. Unfortunately, that news is not coming in time for her to suit up and play against Las Vegas.
