Bills’ Josh Allen Sends Clear Message on What Drives Him This Season
The Buffalo Bills and superstar quarterback Josh Allen are headed into the 2025 NFL season with only one goal in mind. Nothing but a Super Bowl would make the upcoming campaign count as a success.
Last season, the Bills were just one win away from the big game. Unfortunately, they lost to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.
In recent years, Buffalo has looked the part of a Super Bowl favorite on multiple occasions. The team simply has not been able to get over the hump.

With training camp in full swing, Allen is clearly hungry for a championship. He wants to bring one home for the Bills Mafia.

During an interview with Tom Pelissero in training camp, Allen spoke out about what is driving him this season.
“That’s the only thing on my mind in camp, is just like, what can we do to bring a Lombardi trophy home?” Allen said.
Allen put together the best season of his career last year. He won the NFL MVP, but that didn’t mean much to him. Without a championship, the MVP was simply another award, although he was happy to win it.
Throughout the course of the year, Allen played in 16 games. He completed 63.6 percent of his pass attempts for 3,731 yards, 28 touchdowns, and just six interceptions, while also racking up 531 yards and 12 more touchdowns on the ground.
At 29 years old, Allen seems to have a new sense of urgency. He knows that a championship window can close at any time.

Following the 2024 season, the Bills invested heavily into Allen. They gave him a massive six-year, $330 million contract. Now, it’s time for him to take his game up to another level and bring home a championship.
Of course, that is easier said than done and will take a complete team effort. Allen and the rest of the Buffalo roster are highly motivated to get the job done this year.
It will be interesting to see what the Bills are able to do this season. Allen’s comments are a clear message to both his own team and the rest of the NFL that. Buffalo will be a team to be reckoned with.
