We live in a safe environment in Hungary, but this security has been lost in Western Europe, and visitors to Western European tourist destinations may at any time be exposed to crimes such as those committed against two Hungarian women in Sicily, said József Horváth, Director of the Institute for the Protection of Sovereignty on Friday.
The security policy expert was asked about reports in the Sicilian press that three Moroccan citizens had been arrested in Sicily on suspicion of raping two Hungarian tourists, and that, according to information from the German law enforcement authorities, a teacher had been stabbed at a vocational school in Essen, located in western Germany, and the suspect, a 17-year-old Kosovar boy, had been apprehended.
Regarding the two cases, József Horváth stated that we live in a safe environment in Hungary and consequently are not prepared for such attacks and crimes, but that this safety has already been lost in Western Europe.
He added that visiting popular tourist destinations in Western Europe already carries such risks. As he said, you do not have to travel to remote, hidden corners of the world to be exposed to this kind of danger; unfortunately, even a few hours away from Hungary, you can be exposed to such crimes at any time.
The expert noted that ten years ago, the Hungarian government already saw how disastrous illegal immigration could be for Hungarian society and resisted it.
He added that Western Europe did not perceive this danger, and as a result, Islamic radicalism gained ground in Europe and a new, unimaginable way of life emerged, which includes, among other things, forcing young girls into marriage and polygamy. The expert believes a further consequence is the emergence of a new form of anti-Semitism in Western Europe, namely the extreme left-wing, ultra-liberal anti-Semitism represented by radical Islam.

These have overturned the social order and values that had been characteristic of Europe for a thousand years, he emphasized. He added that by giving up on itself and its values, Europe has “practically become vulnerable to illegal immigration and the illegal but deliberate attack on Western Europe that illegal migration represents.”
