The latest episode of WWE Raw in Milwaukee featured several significant developments, including stars returning and reuniting, which led to new matches being announced for Wrestlepalooza.
Friday’s SmackDown saw the massive return of former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee, which generated a significant pop from fans. Following her attack on Becky Lynch, she also picked up the Women’s Intercontinental Championship Becky left in the ring.
On Monday night, AJ cut her first official promo since returning to WWE, which prompted Seth Rollins and his wife to interrupt as they approached the ring from the ramp.

It was revealed that Becky received a black eye during AJ’s attack on Friday, as she wore sunglasses to cover her eyes.
Seth suggested that AJ hand the championship belt back to his wife. However, AJ proposed a different idea for the feuding couples to settle their differences.

“Becky, you can come to the ring right now and take your title, but you will risk me giving you another black eye,” AJ warned her.
“Or, I will give you this title if you agree to a tag match: AJ Lee and CM Punk versus Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins,” she said.
Rollins decided to try to get into the ring and take the belt back for his wife, but AJ stood over it to block him. As Seth demanded she turn it over, Punk came down the ramp and entered the ring.
He attempted a GTS on Rollins, who managed to escape. Following the close call, Rollins took the microphone and agreed to the mixed tag match for Wrestlepalooza on behalf of himself and his wife.
Earlier in the night, fans witnessed the reunion of The Usos as Jimmy and Jey Uso arrived to the ring to call out Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
At WWE’s Clash in Paris, Breakker and Reed brutally attacked Roman Reigns, causing him to be taken away on a stretcher.
During their Raw exchange, The Usos trash-talked their rivals, including Paul Heyman, who was also hospitalized from WWE’s Clash in Paris.
All of the jawing between the two teams resulted in Jimmy and Jey challenging Reed and Breakker to a tag team match for Wrestlepalooza.
The recent Raw developments add two more matches to the card for WWE’s first premium live event on ESPN. In addition to the tag team match and mixed tag match, Brock Lesnar and John Cena will battle one-on-one.
Also, Iyo Sky takes on Stephanie Vaquer to determine who wins the WWE Women’s World Championship, which Naomi vacated.
Wrestlepalooza is scheduled to take place at Indianapolis’s Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday, Sept. 20, with ESPN presenting the big event.
