Man found ‘lying in a pool of blood’ at Burning Man

PERSHING COUNTY, Nev. (TCN) — Authorities are investigating a homicide after a man was found deceased in a pool of blood at the Burning Man Festival in Black Rock City.
According to the Pershing County Sheriff’s Office, the victim, identified by the Nevada Bureau of Land Management as Vadim Kruglov of Russia, was killed sometime on the night of Aug. 30 at the Burning Man Festival. Per a release obtained by SFGate, the man’s body was found at a campsite “lying in a pool of blood.”
Authorities did not disclose the victim’s cause of death, but his remains were reportedly transported to the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The Burning Man Project said in a statement that they are cooperating with law enforcement as the investigation continues, adding, “The safety and well-being of our community are paramount.”
