WWE Legend Shuts Down Return Speculation

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash has definitively shut down any speculation that he is planning an in-ring return. On the latest episode of his “Kliq This” podcast, the former multi-time world champion made it clear that he has no desire to get back in the ring.

The conversation arose after a recent comment Nash made about Becky Lynch sparked discussion among some fans that he might be teasing a comeback. Nash’s last official match on the WWE roster was in December 2011, though he did make a surprise appearance in the 2014 Royal Rumble match.

Kevin Nash Is Staying Retired

Nash was direct and profane in his response to the rumors. He stated that he has no interest in the travel and physical demands of being an active wrestler.

“What don’t people get about the fact that if you’re on television, you’ve got a f**ing job? You’re getting on a plane,” Nash said. “What the f**k? Like, come on. I don’t want that. I don’t wanna be on TV. I don’t care.”

A Legendary and Controversial WWE Career

Kevin Nash was one of the most influential and controversial figures of the 1990s wrestling boom. After a run in WCW, he joined WWE in 1993 as the bodyguard Diesel. His rise to the top was meteoric, and he became the WWE Champion in 1994, holding the title for nearly a full year.

In 1996, he made a historic and landscape-altering jump back to WCW, where he was a foundational member of the iconic New World Order (nWo) faction. His run in WCW saw him become a multi-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Throughout his career, he was a member of the powerful backstage group known as “The Kliq,” which also included his close friends Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman.
