Miami Dolphins rookie Jason Marshall Jr. has exited the game against the Buffalo Bills with a serious-looking hamstring injury. Following a tackle play, he appeared to have suffered a leg injury and was seen limping.

Marshall was on the ground for several minutes, punching the ground in pain. After getting up, he was walking gingerly to the sideline. Moments later, the Dolphins’ rookie was seen walking to the locker room.

Marshall was drafted in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft out of Florida and impressed throughout training camp and preseason. He worked his way into a rotational role and has been picking up plenty of snaps through two weeks.
Sadly, it appears that the leg injury he suffered could be significant.
Hamstring injury for Jason Marshall. Questionable.

According to Dolphins reporter David Furones, Marshall is questionable to return with a hamstring injury.
Marshall being out for an extended period would be tough to deal with, as the Dolphins’ secondary already has multiple injuries.
Storm Duck and Artie Burns remain out, along with Ifeatu Melifonwu. Should Marshall be out for multiple weeks, the Dolphins may have to start searching for more secondary help once again.
The team brought in Jack Jones and Rasul Douglas, but it appears the injury bug continues to impact the Dolphins’ secondary in a big way.
At the time of this writing, the Dolphins are trailing the Bills 14-7. A weak secondary will already make it difficult to deal with this high-flying Buffalo offense.
The Dolphins need a big win after they started the season 0-2. However, without Marshall, things could get a lot harder to deal with.
