Longtime WWE Talent is Set to Return
🎙️ Voice is AI-generated. Inconsistencies may occur.
Lilian Garcia, a beloved and iconic voice of WWE, is set to return to the announce desk for tonight’s episode of “Monday Night Raw.” The veteran announcer will be filling in for the show’s regular ring announcer, Alicia Taylor.
The announcement was made by Taylor on her social media on Sunday. She confirmed that she is just taking the one night off and will be back for the following week’s show.
A Welcome WWE Return for Lilian Garcia
Lilian Garcia has been a fan-favorite for decades, and her return is always a welcome one. She first made a more permanent return in the fall of 2024 to fill the void left by the departure of Samantha Irvin. She served as the announcer for both “Raw” and “SmackDown” before stepping back from a full-time role in March of this year.
Since then, she has continued to be a special guest announcer for major events, including the recent Worlds Collide and “Saturday Night’s Main Event” shows. She was also scheduled to be the announcer for the all-women’s Evolution premium live event in July, but she had to pull out at the last minute due to a respiratory infection.

The Voice of an WWE Era
Lilian Garcia first signed with WWE in 1999 and quickly became the signature voice of “Monday Night Raw” during the peak of the Attitude Era. Her powerful vocals and genuine, emotional connection with the audience made her an integral part of the show’s presentation.
She remained with the company until 2010, before returning for another successful stint from 2011 to 2019. Her longevity and professionalism have made her one of the most respected and recognizable non-wrestling personalities in WWE history. Her return for tonight’s “Raw” in Evansville, Indiana, will be a nostalgic treat for the fans in attendance and those watching at home.
