Bills Surprisingly Named Landing Spot For Division Rival’s Star Receiver
🎙️ Voice is AI-generated. Inconsistencies may occur.
The Buffalo Bills are off to a hot start with a 3-0 record this season, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t make improvements to their roster.
Buffalo’s offense is one of the best in the league, despite not having a clear top receiver. The Bills lead the league with an average of 420 offensive yards per game, and rank in the top four in total points per game, averaging 34 points.
Surprisingly, the Bills were listed as a potential landing spot in a trade for Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill, by Pro Football Network’s Josh Weil.
“Tyreek Hill, one of the most electrifying players in the whole league, is in an offense that is totally out of sync and is not getting him the ball in the open for him to do what he does best,” Weil wrote. “If the Dolphins decide to take calls on Hill, there will be a plethora of teams lining up for his services, and this trade could be essential for an offense to take the next step to becoming Super Bowl-ready. He is that good.

“Seeing him return to Kansas City would be interesting, but, in my opinion, there are a few better options for him to achieve the target share he wants and receive the return on investment of both the capital invested in him and his salary.”
Hill, 31, remains one of the most talented receivers in the league. Though he had a disappointing 2024 season, failing to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in five years, he has had a solid start to the season with 15 receptions for 198 yards and a touchdown in three games.
Trading for a receiver of Hill’s caliber would be a massive addition for the Bills. Though this would be good for Buffalo, it would be interesting to see if the Dolphins would entertain the idea of sending their star receiver to a division rival who they still have to play again this season.
