A.J. Brown’s Cryptic Eagles Tweet Raises Eyebrows %%sep%% %%sitename%%
The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-25 in Week 4, but not everyone seemed satisfied after the game.
Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown took to social media, sharing a post that garnered plenty of attention from fans. Brown finished with two receptions for nine yards, however, he drew nine targets in the contest — five more than any other pass-catcher on the team.
Still, Brown appeared to vent his frustrations with a quote on X after his team moved to 4-0, one of at least two teams with spotless records through the first four games of the 2025 season.

“If you’re not welcomed, not listened to, quietly withdraw,” read the graphic Brown posted on X on September 28. “Don’t make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way.”
Brown also posted, “I Love yall with all My heart,” on X after the contest.
The three-time Pro Bowler’s ominous social media behavior certainly piqued the interest of several concerned Eagles fans.
“Please don’t AJ we’re 4-0,” one fan wrote.
“Aj please don’t leave this team. I will storm up to the office myself. Please!!!” another fan replied.
“Bro this fanbase loves you, you gotta stop feeding the media lollipops,” one user stated.
“AJ please don’t leave bro, i can get you the ball,” begged another fan.
“This is what four games of (offensive coordinator Kevin) Patullo does to a man 😭😭,” remarked another user.

Brown entered the game with 12 receptions for 144 yards and 1 touchdown on 19 targets. His 6.3 targets per game coming in was the second-fewest of his career, behind only his rookie season with the Tennessee Titans.
He’s on track to set a new career-low in receiving yards per game, posting a 48.0 mark before Sunday’s tilt.

Notably, Brown is under contract through 2029 on a three-year, $96 million extension. That does not begin until next season, giving him few options to force the Eagles’ hand if he decides to seek a trade.
The Eagles acquired Brown in a trade with the Titans in 2022, and he was vital to their two Super Bowl runs, which included a championship in 2024.
The Eagles will host the Denver Broncos next week.
