Royal Caribbean Cruise Rescues People Stranded on Raft

A Royal Caribbean Cruise ship rescued a group of people who were stranded on a raft in the Caribbean Sea, according to reports.

The incident took place on Sunday evening after Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas ship had diverted from its planned route between Tampa, Florida, and Costa Maya, Mexico, due to bad weather, according to Cruise Hive.

While on its new route, the ship came across a raft displaying a distress signal, and responded by dispatching a rescue vessel to retrieve the individuals onboard.

A passenger posted a video on Facebook appearing to show the rescue boat approaching the raft.
