Art All Around Us: Discover 360 Design Budapest at the Buda Castle

Between October 9 and 19, the 360 Design Budapest exhibition will once again open its doors in the Buda Castle District, where visitors can view some 400 creations by nearly 100 Hungarian and regional designers and manufacturers.

The aim of the exhibition is to draw attention to the cultural and economic significance of design in all areas of life. The exhibition presents a wide range of contemporary object culture, from small-series or even unique works of artistic value, through furniture and home accessories, to mass-produced objects.

In addition to the works of Hungarian and Central European design brands, designers, industrial and visual artists, the exhibition will also showcase the developments of Hungarian creative industry manufacturers.

This year, for the first time, the life’s work of Sándor Borz Kováts will be on display, and the exhibition will be curated by Judit Horváth, head of the Contemporary Design Collection at the Museum of Applied Arts in Budapest.

The main exhibition is accompanied by a number of programs: workshops, guided tours by well-known musicians, actors, and content creators, music and dance performances, and professional roundtable discussions await visitors. The event is free to attend, but registration is required. You can register on the 360 Design Budapest website.
