Drake Maye, Patriots Get Major Stefon Diggs Injury Update
The New England Patriots are one of the hottest teams in the NFL, notching three consecutive victories heading into Sunday’s Week 7 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
Quarterback Drake Maye is experiencing a breakout campaign in his second NFL season, completing 73.2% of his pass attempts for 1,522 yards, 10 touchdowns and two interceptions, and rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
It appears Maye will have one of his top wide receiver weapons for Sunday’s matchup against the Titans, despite some uncertainty to start the week.
Veteran pass-catcher Stefon Diggs was listed as a limited participant with a chest injury on Wednesday and Thursday. But on Friday, he was upgraded to full participation.

Through the first six games of his tenure with the Patriots, Diggs has 32 catches for 387 yards and no touchdowns. He recorded back-to-back 100-yard outings in Weeks 4-5, catching seven balls for 101 yards and against the Carolina Panthers and 10 passes for 146 yards against his former Buffalo Bills squad.
Diggs discussed Maye’s growth as a quarterback when speaking with reporters on Thursday.
“Same guy coming in each and every day,” Diggs said. “He grinds, cracks a couple jokes. He’s still keeping it loose, he’s not too tight … It’s surprising to everybody else, it’s not a surprise to me, and I’m super excited for him.”

Diggs leads the Patriots in receiving yards so far this season, followed by fellow wide receiver Kayshon Boutte (301) and tight end Hunter Henry (277). Diggs is still on the hunt for his first touchdown reception of the 2025 NFL season.
Sunday’s matchup against the Titans will kickoff at 1 p.m. ET.
