Elon Musk’s X, Grok Under New Investigation: ‘Violent, Unacceptable’
The European Commission has opened an investigation into Elon Musk’s X social media platform and its AI chatbot Grok over the alleged creation of sexually explicit deepfake images of women and children.
“Sexual deepfakes of women and children are a violent, unacceptable form of degradation,” said Henna Virkkunen, executive vice-president for tech sovereignty, security and democracy at the European Commission, in a statement.
