Márton Twins Lead the International Taekwondo Rankings

The Olympic and world rankings have been updated: the Márton twins – Luana and Viviana – are in amazing form and remain unstoppable, both topping the lists.

Luana and Viviana Márton continue to lead the international taekwondo rankings. Among the 20-year-old girls,

Viviana, gold medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics and winner of last year’s world championships, continues to lead the Olympic rankings in the women’s 67-kilogram weight class, while three-time world champion Luana occupies first place in the world rankings in the same category.

Luana Márton is second in the Olympic rankings in the +67 kg category, while her sister, who is a few minutes younger, is second in the world rankings in the 67 kg category.

Both were nominated and finished in the top three in the Hungarian Female Athlete of the Year contest, with Luana Márton ultimately receiving the most votes to be named the best of 2025.

Other Hungarian taekwondo athletes also made it into the elite in this year’s international rankings in February. The highest-ranked among them was 17-year-old Kamilah Salim, last year’s junior European silver medalist, who finished fifth in her first adult world championship in 2025 and is currently ranked 15th in the Olympic rankings in the 49 kg category.
