Packers Star Micah Parsons Reveals New Injury Update
The Green Bay Packers saw superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons go down with a torn ACL late in the 2025 NFL season and are hoping to get him back on the field early in 2026.
Parsons, who was acquired in a blockbuster trade with the Dallas Cowboys just ahead of the 2025 season, was a dominant force in his first season with the Packers. In order to get him, Green Bay had to give up two first-round picks and star defensive tackle Kenny Clark.
He played in 14 games during his first campaign with the Packers, racking up 41 total tackles, 12.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and a defended pass. Unfortunately, in a tough matchup against the Denver Broncos, he suffered the season-ending injury.

While returning in Week 1 of the 2026 season seems to be a stretch, Parsons is targeting somewhere around Week 4. A new update has now been provided about Parsons’ recovery process.
As shared in a video posted by Parsons, he was seen physically working out his injured knee on the road to recovery.
Seeing this is good for the soul of Green Bay fans. After Parsons went down with the ACL tear, everything changed for the Packers’ defense.
Throughout his NFL career, Parsons has become one of the best defensive players in the league. There are few stars who can impact the game like he can. Assuming he comes back healthy early in the season, Green Bay is going to be a Super Bowl contender in 2026.
There is still a long path ahead for Parsons to get back on the field. However, it’s clear that he is putting in the work and is progressing nicely towards getting back to playing.

With the NFL offseason about to heat up, the Packers are going to be an interesting team to watch. They have some flexibility to make another big move if they choose to do so. Brian Gutekunst knows how close the team is to winning a championship.
Hopefully, Parsons is able to continue along a smooth recovery process. Things are going good so far and this update gives reason for optimism in Green Bay.
