Donald Trump Says He ‘couldn’t care less’ About Iran Threats
U.S. President Donald Trump has dismissed threats from a senior Iranian official who suggested he “will pay” for U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran, as the conflict spreading across the Middle East passes into its second week.
Ali Larijani, an Iranian national security figure who quickly became a key player in Tehran after U.S.-Israeli attacks killed former leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said Trump “must pay and will pay” for persistent aerial assaults on the country.
“I have no idea what he’s talking about, who he is. I couldn’t care less,” Trump said in an interview with CBS News late on Saturday, referring to Larijani’s remarks.

Iran ‘decimated,’ Trump says
Trump, speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One on Saturday, said the U.S. and Israel were “winning the war by a lot” and indicated the strikes would continue for “a little while longer.”
“We’ve decimated their whole evil empire,” Trump said. He had previously said U.S. strikes, dubbed Operation Epic Fury, could continue for several weeks.
