Ravens Eyeing Big Trade Move After Maxx Crosby Deal
On Friday, the Baltimore Ravens scored the big deal before free agency by agreeing to send two first-round picks (2026, 2027) to the Las Vegas Raiders for defensive end Maxx Crosby.

The deal cannot be completed until the start of the league’s new year on Wednesday. Still, the Ravens are set to give new head coach Jesse Minter a key piece for his defense in the upcoming season.
Baltimore’s offense has proven capable of being championship worthy in recent seasons, but the defense failed to do its part last season.

With Crosby set to join the defense, the Ravens could make a trade that would impact the offensive side of the ball.
Per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Rashod Bateman is a name that has come available in the trade market this offseason.
The first-round pick in 2021 signed a three-year, $36.75 million extension with $20 million guaranteed last year.
Before the deal was in place, Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said Bateman had a bright future in the league.
“I’ve said it a million times,” DeCosta said, via Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. “I’m excited to watch Rashod this year. I think his best football is ahead of him. It’s something he wanted. It’s something we wanted. He’s got a very bright future.”
Bateman appeared in 13 games last season, recording 19 receptions for 224 yards and two touchdowns. He was the team’s fifth-leading receiver.
Bateman’s best season came in 2024, when the former standout for the Minnesota Golden Gophers recorded 45 receptions for 756 yards and nine touchdowns.
Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers is the future of the receiver corps. He led the Ravens with 86 receptions for 1,211 yards and five touchdowns in 2025.
It’ll be interesting to see what the Ravens could get in return for Bateman. But it might be in Baltimore’s best interest to trade Bateman this offseason.
