2025 NFL Draft: Predicting The Landing Spots For All 18 Prospects Attending
The 2025 NFL draft is just a week away, and numerous players will fulfill their dreams of playing at the professional level.
Earlier this week, the league announced the 18 prospects who will be in attendance waiting in the green room to hear their names called by Roger Goodell.
That said, here is a prediction of the team that will draft each player that will be in Green Bay.
OL Tyler Booker: Houston Texans (No. 25)
The Texans added Cam Robinson to make up for the loss of Laremy Tunsil, but they still need to address the interior part of the offensive line. Booker would take over at right guard in place of Shaq Mason.
LB Jihaad Campbell: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (No. 19)
While he is still playing at a high level, Lavonte David isn’t getting any younger. He is currently 35 years old. David would be able to get Campbell acclimated to the speed of the NFL. In due time, Campbell’s explosiveness and physicality will impact the game in all facets.
OL Will Campbell: New England Patriots (No. 4)
Mike Vrabel has a gritty and rugged mentality and wants to build around Drake Maye, so he accomplishes both with Campbell. Some believe that Campbell may be better inside, but he has the talent to try to play tackle first. Regardless of where he plays along the line, he would give Maye immediate protection.
EDGE Abdul Carter: New York Giants (No. 3)
After signing Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, they don’t have an immediate need for a quarterback anymore. The Giants already have Kayvon Thibodeaux and Brian Burns, but you don’t pass on this type of talent in the top three. Carter’s addition gives New York arguably one of the best edge defender groups in the NFL.
QB Jaxson Dart: Cleveland Browns (No. 33)
It’s hard to see the Browns taking a quarterback at No. 2, despite the need to add one. Instead, they take the patient approach and open up Day 2 by getting their guy. However, it would not be surprising if Cleveland trades up for him. Dart would be the perfect quarterback for Kevin Stefanski to develop.
WR Matthew Golden: Dallas Cowboys (No.12)
The Cowboys could address different positions with this pick. Ultimately, they elect to go to their backyard and give Dak Prescott another weapon to complement Ceedee Lamb.
DL Mason Graham: Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 5)
The Jaguars could surprise by taking Ashton Jeanty, but address the defensive side of the ball. Pairing Graham with Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker up front could bolster a unit that ranked 32nd in defensive EPA per play last season. Graham is a solid run defender and a juiced-up interior pass rusher.
CB Maxwell Hairston: Los Angeles Rams (No. 6)
Hairston has seen his draft stock rise after running the fastest 40 at the NFL Scouting Combine (4.28). He could be a Day 1 starter for the Rams in a cornerback room that’s been missing some talent since the departure of Jalen Ramsey.
WR/CB Travis Hunter: Cleveland Browns (No. 2)
The Browns don’t force taking a quarterback here and take the best player in the draft. General manager Andrew Berry compared Hunter to Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani when referencing his ability to play on both sides of the ball. Berry views Hunter as a wide receiver first and then a cornerback, but they would have no desire to cap his ability to play on offense and defense.
RB Ashton Jeanty: Las Vegas Raiders (No. 6)
The Raiders’ running game was poor last season, ranking last in total yards and yards per carry. Jeanty’s presence would significantly help in this department and the passing game, and give head coach Pete Carroll his modern-day Marshawn Lynch.
CB Will Johnson: Green Bay Packers (No. 23)
Johnson could go a lot earlier than this, but I believe he slides a little bit because he chose not to run a 40, and there could still be questions about his medicals. Nonetheless, the Packers have a pressing need at cornerback, and they fulfill that with a smart and instinctive player who should start from Day 1.
WR Tetairoa McMillan: Los Angeles Chargers (No. 22)
McMillan has been projected as high as the top 10. However, I think he slips due to his lack of speed and separation skills. This would be a steal for the Chargers, who need to get Justin Herbert reliable pass-catchers required to succeed.
QB Jalen Milroe: Pittsburgh Steelers (No. 21)
The Steelers’ quarterback room remains unknown, with Aaron Rodgers being noncommittal about whether he will play in Pittsburgh. Even if Rodgers signs, he’s 41, so they must start building towards the future. If Shedeur Sanders is available, he could be the guy, too. But in this case, I believe he goes to the Saints at No. 9.
OT Josh Simmons: Kansas City Chiefs (No. 31)
This would be a steal for the Chiefs, as Simmons would undoubtedly have been a top-15 selection had he not suffered a season-ending knee injury in 2024. Kansas City has been looking for its guy to protect quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ blind side for the past few years.
S Malaki Starks: Minnesota Vikings (No. 24)
The Vikings lost one of their starting safeties this offseason, Cam Bynum, who signed with the Colts. They also need to have a succession plan for Harrison Smith. Starks would provide Brian Flores with athleticism and versatility to play multiple spots in the secondary.
DL Shemar Stewart: Washington Commanders (No. 29)
Stewart’s stock is all over the place. While he has all the desired traits, he has never surpassed more than 1.5 sacks in a single season. The potential is through the roof, and if there’s a coach that could get the most out of him, it’s Dan Quinn.
QB Cameron Ward: Tennessee Titans (No. 1)
This is a lock. After neglecting the position in free agency, the Titans get their quarterback of the future. Ward has the desired tools to be the team’s franchise signal-caller, possessing the mentality, arm talent, mobility, and precise accuracy to deliver the football to all levels of the field.
EDGE Mykel Williams: Carolina Panthers (No. 8)
The Panthers have a lot of needs on the defensive side of the ball, but the pass rush needs more juice. Williams is raw, but he is an inside-out player with the traits to wreak havoc in Ejiro Evero’s defense.
