With Kittle being placed on IR due to his hamstring injury, he will miss the next four games at least. The good news is the 49ers play four games in the next 23 days, so Kittle could return at the beginning of October, depending on his recovery.
Losing Kittle will be detrimental for the 49ers offense, which is already banged up with multiple injuries. Even Brock Purdy is in danger of missing Week 2 due to a shoulder and toe injury.
