5 WWE NXT Stars Who Should Be Called Up To The Main Roster

WrestleMania season stands as the apex of excitement for WWE fans, a two-night spectacle promising the year’s most monumental moments. Beyond the in-ring action, this period serves as a pivotal reset for the company.

It’s a time of heightened anticipation, where the culmination of rivalries and the crowning of champions set the stage for the company’s future direction.

WrestleMania season holds immense significance for NXT’s rising stars. With NXT undergoing a noticeable transition and spotlighting emerging talent, speculation is going wild regarding which familiar faces will soon leap Raw or SmackDown. Here is our list of talent who should be called up.

HOUSTON, TEXAS – MARCH 11: A general stadium view during WWE Monday Night RAW at Toyota Center on March 11, 2024 in Houston, Texas.

5. Ricky Starks

Ricky Starks is at the top of the list, as the former AEW star was arguably ready for the main roster from the moment he joined the company. However, he shouldn’t be in NXT for long as he’s already held gold in the promotion by winning the North American Title. He can talk and work. No other reason to keep him from the bright lights.

4. Roxanne Perez

Roxanne Perez’s rapid ascent in NXT, beginning at the tender age of 20 in 2022, has been nothing short of remarkable. Her two NXT Women’s Championship reigns place her in an elite category, a feat matched by only two other competitors.

Furthermore, her recent appearances on Raw, including a significant showing in the women’s Elimination Chamber match and a subsequent feud with Bayley, have provided a taste of her potential on the main roster, signaling a readiness for a full-time transition.

Indeed, Roxanne Perez’s call-up seems almost inevitable. Her prior interactions with the main roster, particularly her involvement in the Elimination Chamber match and her developing rivalry with Bayley, have effectively laid the groundwork for her permanent integration.

With a solid foundation built in NXT, where she has refined her skills, Perez is primed to become a standout performer on Raw or SmackDown.

3. Ethan Page

Ethan Page’s WWE journey began with a bang in May 2024 when he immediately targeted NXT Champion Trick Williams. His impact was swift and decisive, culminating in an NXT Championship victory at Heatwave in July. However, his reign was short-lived, as he dropped the title back to Williams on NXT’s CW Premier in October.

Now, with his sights set on North American Champion Ricky Saints, it appears Page may be poised for a final NXT chapter before transitioning to the main roster.

Given Ethan Page’s established persona and experience prior to signing with WWE, his time in NXT has felt like a brief but impactful stepping stone. Having spent a year refining his character within the WWE system, the time seems ripe for his main roster debut.

Page’s ability to quickly adapt and make an impact in NXT suggests he possesses the tools to become a breakout star on Raw or SmackDown. The question now is whether WWE will capitalize on his momentum.

2. Trick Williams

Trick Williams, a prominent figure in NXT’s recent years, has showcased undeniable star power and charisma, culminating in his first NXT Championship victory. However, his title reign was marked by inconsistency, with his in-ring performances often failing to match his captivating personality. This has raised concerns about his readiness for the main roster, as while his overall appeal is undeniable, his technical wrestling skills may need further refinement.

NXT has spent the past year gauging his potential as a top star, and the results have been mixed, highlighting the gap between his charisma and in-ring execution. Despite the need for further development, WWE may be inclined to capitalize on Trick Williams’s current momentum.

1. Giulia

Giulia’s NXT debut at No Mercy 2024, where she immediately challenged Roxanne Perez, set the stage for a rapid ascent to the NXT Women’s Championship. Her victory over Perez at New Year’s Evil 2025 solidified her impact within the division.

However, her reign was abruptly cut short at NXT: Roadblock in March, where she relinquished the title to Stephanie Vaquer due to an injury. This whirlwind six-month period, characterized by championship glory and a setback, has significantly impacted her trajectory, likely delaying any potential post-WrestleMania main roster call-up.

Despite the injury-induced setback, Giulia’s positioned her as a prime candidate for an immediate main roster promotion upon her return.
