Ben Affleck Makes Rare Outing With Fin Amid JLo Divorce

Ben Affleck got in the Halloween spirit by taking his 15-year-old child, Fin, to shop for costumes on Friday.
In photos obtained by Page Six and posted on September 27, the duo was spotted outside a Spirit Halloween store in Los Angeles. While it’s unclear whether they ended up making a purchase from the seasonal retailer, Affleck and Fin appeared to be in good spirits as they walked together outside the store.
Affleck, 52, has seemingly been dedicating quality time to his children (whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner) as of late. In addition to Fin (born Seraphina), The Town actor has also been spotted out with his 12-year-old son Samuel as well as 18-year-old daughter Violet this summer, all while going through a divorce with Jennifer Lopez, who has largely remained in New York City.

Recent interactions between Bennifer suggest that their divorce has been amicable. On September 14, Affleck and Lopez, 55, were seen at the Beverly Hills Hotel with Fin and Samuel, alongside Lopez’s 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max. An eyewitness exclusively revealed to Page Six that the ex-spouses were “holding hands and kissing” during their time together, which was a surprising development for onlookers.
Just days later, the pair attended their children’s back-to-school night together, where they reportedly were cordial. Despite the friendly encounters, however, both Affleck and Lopez were seen arriving at celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser’s Los Angeles office on Monday, September 23, according to the outlet.
Affleck and Lopez’s relationship has been a topic of public interest since the early 2000s when they first got engaged in 2002, only to call off their wedding in 2004. Years later, they rekindled their romance in 2021, leading to a surprise engagement in April 2022 and marriage in July 2022. However, after rumors of trouble in paradise began circulating in mid-2024, it was confirmed that Affleck and Lopez had filed for divorce on August 20, 2024.
