With Daniel Craig being one of the most popular choices to play the world-trotting spy, the question then becomes, who is next? Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has asked fans who they would want to see be the next face of the franchise.

Bezos stated, “Who’d you pick as the next Bond?”

Here is a collection of some of the best responses:

Many fans have been clamoring for Henry Cavill to be the next Bond, and it’s hard to argue with that.

Though this fan names Cavill, they also drop some other options such as Idris Elba, Max Bennett, and Eddie Redmayne. Elba has been mentioned for months, especially following the news that Craig would not move forward as the fan-favorite spy.

Nicholas Hoult has been landing great roles and is set to be the supervillain Lex Luthor in the new DCU. That alone might keep him too busy to appear in the next several “007” films.

Michael B. Jordan would also be a wonderful option considering his popularity and ability to command action roles like Killmonger in the “Black Panther” franchise along with Adonis Creed in the “Rocky” spinoff, “Creed.”

Michael Fassbender is also another wonderful choice considering the magnanimous roles he has held, such as portraying Magneto in the “X-Men” franchise.

Daniel Craig as James Bond in “No Time to Die.” The actor may be done as 007 but, as a caption states at the end of the movie, “James Bond will return.”

MGM

The “007” franchise has cast many iconic actors in the role from Sean Connery to Roger Moore, and Craig. The iconic spy is often portrayed by an actor who has a special kind of personality.

It will be interesting what the plans are following Amazon taking creative control. The usual case is for the spy to get a collection of films, but the company might be want to expand the universe and get a series going.

Either way, there is a wealth of actors that can be chosen for the role, including some great ideas coming from Bezo’s request for dream casting. Though the consensus is for Cavill to step in, there would be plenty of excitement if Amazon throws a curveball and gets an actor no one predicted.
