Bills vs Ravens: Expert Predictions For SNF Clash
The NFL season is in full swing and we have seen some great matchups already take place. Week 4 is upon us and one of the better games from the entire season is scheduled for Sunday Night Football.
More news: NFL Week 4 Game-by-Game Expert Predictions
The Buffalo Bills will travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens in a potential playoff preview. Both teams were expected to be Super Bowl contenders prior to the start of the season, giving this game some extra juice.
Buffalo has started the year 3-0 despite some injuries and an inexperienced wide receiving core. They have dominated over the past few weeks, reminding many that they are still a force to be dealt with in the AFC.
The Ravens’ record is 1-2 on the season. They picked up a big win last week on the road against the Dallas Cowboys but saw a large lead disappear in the fourth quarter.
Baltimore has been a little shaky at the start of the new year, but it won’t take one game for some teams to catch fire. Grabbing a win over the Bills would go a long way to getting their season back on track.
So who wins this AFC showdown? Newsweek Sports has you covered with expert predictions of how we think the game will go down.
Matt Levine: The Bills have looked like one of the better teams in the entire league so far but this game against Baltimore will be telling. If they can go on the road to take down the Ravens, it would certainly be a big statement. However, the Ravens seemed to find some footing last week against Dallas and despite the almost collapse, they held on. Baltimore uses that win and keeps the momentum going, picking up a massive win over Buffalo.
Prediction: Ravens 31, Bills 28
Valentina Martinez: The matchup is a huge AFC showdown. The Buffalo Bills can extend their undefeated streak to 4-0, but I believe their efforts will be spoiled by Lamar Jackson and company.
Prediction: Ravens 28, Bills 26
Ricardo Sandoval: The Baltimore Ravens will look for their second consecutive win after a thriller in Dallas. The Ravens have struggled to keep leads early this season, but they may have found something last week. Josh Allen and the Bills will look to remain undefeated and have one of the more high-powered offenses. However, on the road against a hostile Ravens defense and a tough crowd, the Ravens will take advantage.
Prediction: Ravens 33, Bills 28
John Robinson: The Ravens utilize their running game to take advantage of an average group of Buffalo linebackers. This game will come down to the fourth quarter, however, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens will make enough plays to get the win.
Prediction: Ravens 27, Bills 20
Eva Geitheim: The Bills win because Josh Allen and the Buffalo offense are playing the best of any team right now. They get the victory over a Ravens team that has been fairly inconsistent to start the season.
Prediction: Bills 30, Ravens 24
Jeremy Hanna: This is going to be the best game of the week. Two incredible defenses, two incredible offenses, and two incredible quarterbacks. Still, I can’t help but think that this is the Bills’ year. It can go either way, but Buffalo is going to come out on top. Barely.
Prediction: Bills 20, Ravens 17
