Cam Ward Slams Titans in Explosive Rant After Texans Blowout

The Tennessee Titans are currently 0-4 on the season, and things are not looking up following a 24-0 blowout loss to the Houston Texans. Following the loss, Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward slammed the team with some offensive words.

“If we keep it a buck right now, we ass. We 0-4. At this point, we got nothing to lose. We’ve dropped a quarter of our f****** games and we’ve yet to do anything. We have to lock in, especially myself. The offensive line, from the defensive line, the special teams, to all three phases. We have to play together. We have not played together this year yet. That is just something that we want to preach about … it has to show up on Sundays. It hasn’t shown up, but it got to show up next week,” Ward said following the loss.

Ward is being self-aware about the Titans currently. Not only is the team 0-4 thus far, but they have been outscored 120-51. Tennessee is currently struggling, and the rookie signal caller understands that changes need to be made to notch some big wins.

Ward was drafted No. 1 overall to serve as the long-needed franchise quarterback for the organization, but the team is not where it needs to be to support him. There are clearly many holes that the Titans have, and they will need to address them in the offseason to ensure the team isn’t as incomplete as it is right now.

The Titans’ schedule is also not going to get any easier, as the team has the Arizona Cardinals, Las Vegas Raiders, New England Patriots, and Los Angeles Chargers next. There needs to be some changes if Tennessee wants to emerge from this rough schedule with more than one win.

Brian Callahan has been the Titans’ head coach since 2024, and in that time, he has gone 3-17. It will be interesting to see if the team makes a drastic change and relieves Callahan of his duties. Mid-season coaching changes are not super common, but they are also not super rare.

Something clearly needs to change with the Titans, and a reset could be coming. It is understandable to see Ward go off on the team’s effort, as the 0-4 record clearly speaks to that.
