A cat’s “toddler” tantrum after being refused a piece of chicken has left the internet in hysterics.
The viral video, which has been viewed more than 5.6 million times since it was first shared to TikTok on February 8, filmed the cat sulking and snipping at his owner after being forbidden a bite of the rotisserie chicken.

The cat lowered and bowed his head as if to express his upset, while his owner told him to “knock that off right now”.
The cat’s owner had shared in the post that they had just “brought home groceries” and that their cat had sensed a “whiff” of rotisserie chicken.
“Now he’s pissed off because I took it away from him,” the cat’s owner, who goes by @marineb1ologist on the platform, shared in the post.
The cat was then shown trying to nip his owner, to which they responded, “You can’t bite”.
“That crispy chicken is not good for you. I’m so sorry. Please don’t be mad at me, come on buddy,” they could be heard saying.
The post had been captioned: “Tell me this isn’t a human toddler.”
