Chiefs’ DeAndre Hopkins Seeking Therapy After Dropped Pass

The Kansas City Chiefs once again found a way to win a close game, taking down the Las Vegas Raiders on Black Friday. Kansas City has made a living off these tight contests this year but they’ve survived the majority of them.

The Chiefs became the first team to clinch a spot in the playoffs this year, giving them a guaranteed chance to go after a third straight Super Bowl win. Kansas City has been more vulnerable than ever this season despite them only having lost one game.

During the game, Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins had a dropped pass after quarterback Patrick Mahomes scrambled out of a sea of defenders. It was a point-blank pass from Mahomes but the veteran wide receiver seemed to just miss the target when going for the catch.

After the game, the wide receiver took to social media and seemingly joked about the incident. Hopkins said that he would be checking himself into therapy after the dropped pass.

Hopkins is likely joking about checking into therapy and is probably trolling the fans who were angry with him about dropping the pass. The veteran has a sense of humor and wanted to make a statement about it all.

Wide receivers drop passes at different times in the game and Hopkins likely was the most frustrated with himself about the incident.

The veteran is one of the better wideouts to play in the NFL in recent memory but even he may have a bad moment. In the end, the Chiefs won the game so that is all that really matters.

Hopkins did his part in helping the team win despite his dropped pass. The wideout put up four catches for 90 yards as Kansas City took down Las Vegas.

The Chiefs now sit with a record of 11-1 on the season, holding the best record in the NFL. Kansas City is the favorite to win the Super Bowl once again even if they haven’t looked quite as dominant as we all have become accustomed to.

The Super Bowl runs through Kansas City until proven otherwise and the Chiefs will be a tough out in the postseason. With all of their offensive weapons, Kansas City is a nightmare matchup for any opposing team that takes the field against them.
