Commanders Activating RB Austin Ekeler From IR Ahead of Playoff Push
The Washington Commanders are adding back a critical piece of their offense in the eleventh hour.
Running back Austin Ekeler is being activated from injured reserve and will be ready to play in the regular season finale against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday per NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
“The #Commanders are activating veteran RB Austin Ekeler from Injured Reserve after dealing with a concussion, source says. He’ll play tomorrow,” Rapoport said on X.
Ekeler was listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys after being on injured reserve since sustaining a concussion in the Week 12 loss to Dallas.
