Construction sector output falls 6.3 percent y/y in March
Output of Hungary’s construction sector fell by an annual 6.3 percent in March, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Wednesday.
Output of the buildings segment dropped by 10.0 percent and civil engineering output edged up by 0.8 percent.
Month on month, construction sector output fell by 2.8 percent, adjusted for seasonal and workday effects.
Producer prices in the sector increased by 6.7 percent year-on-year in the first quarter.
