Dog ‘Feels Bad’ at Seeing Owner Injured – Has Hilarious Response

A Dalmatian has left the internet in stitches after mimicking his owner who is on crutches.

The large black and white spotted hound chased his owner with ankle damage by hilariously mimicking his injury.

A man limps through his kitchen on crutches with his foot wrapped in a pink bandage and his two Dalmatians excitedly bark and follow in his direction.

Carlos Torres (@tfe375) shared the amusing footage which garnered 9.6 million views on TikTok. One of his two pooches is seen hobbling in the video, suspending one of his front paws in the air to copy his owner.

The pet owner shared on TikTok: “When your dog feels bad for you so he fakes injury.”

Carlos confirmed in another TikTok he had an ankle injury which is why he was relying on crutches.

Many commenters suggested the dog felt bad for his owners, whilst others said he wanted the attention.

One user shared a similar experience and even got his dog a matching bandage.

The TikTok user said: “I sprained my ankle years back and my dog acted the same way, we had to bandage her foot and prop her leg on pillow like mine.”

Another said: “Dalmatians are loyal to [their] companions lol I tripped once and mine rolled onto her back and pretended to trip.”

Dalmatians are an outgoing and smart breed who are loyal to their owners, according to the American Kennel Club.

Wag! a dog-walking and caring platform writes that canines can sense when their owners are injured.

According to the platform, pooches usually change their behavior and become more attentive and curious than usual and can also mimic their human’s every move—in the same way as Carlos’ dog.

They might also become more affectionate and want to be close to you, sometimes dogs even identify the injured area and will touch it with their paw, the pet platform stated.
