Donald Trump Shares Candid Thoughts on Harvey Weinstein: ‘He Got Schlonged’

Former President Donald Trump says he was “amazed” former Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein “got schlonged” during a Friday episode of The Dan Bongino Show.

Speaking with conservative podcast host and former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino, Trump discussed a range of issues pertaining to the presidential election, the federal government’s hurricane response, Elon Musk, and Weinstein, among other topics.

Former movie producer Weinstein was found guilty in 2020 of the sexual assault of former production assistant Miriam Haley and the rape of aspiring actress Jessica Mann. He was sentenced to 23 years in prison. Weinstein has been accused by more than 80 women of sexual abuse over several decades.

The conviction was overturned in April of this year by a New York Court of Appeals ruling. The court determined that three women who were not included in the charges should not have been allowed to speak about alleged assault during their trial testimony.

He pleaded not guilty to the new charge, criminal sex act in the first degree. He was also found guilty of rape in Los Angeles and sentenced to 16 years in prison, but his legal team is appealing the conviction. He has not started serving the California sentence yet.

On the podcast, Trump spoke about “fake press” and the difficulties that creates. He continued: “Democrats don’t have to be honest. They really don’t have to be honest, because they will never be accused of anything.”

“I was so amazed that Harvey Weinstein got schlonged,” Trump said.

Trump has previously used the term “schlonged” in reference to women in political races, including Hillary Clinton’s 2008 primary run and former New York State Assembly member Jane Corwin’s House loss.

Newsweek has reached out to Trump’s campaign to clarify the term’s definition via email on Friday afternoon.

Trump said that Weinstein “got hit as hard as you can get hit. Because he was sort of king of the woke, right? And yet he got hit. I figured that maybe he wouldn’t get hit so hard.”

Weinstein was charged by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, which was led by Cyrus Vance Jr., a Democrat.

Trump has been accused of sexually assaulting several women, allegations which he has denied. In 2023, a Manhattan jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing and defaming E. Jean Carroll during the 1990s. The case was a civil trial, not criminal trial.

Harris’ campaign account, Kamala HQ, shared a 24-second segment of the video interview on X, formerly Twitter, with the caption: “Trump bemoans how Harvey Weinstein was treated, saying he was “schlonged.”

Social media users have reposted similar clips, including user Hal Sparks, who called attention to the use of the word “schlonged,” writing in the caption, “Ummm.. schlonged? That’s what Weinstein was trying to do to his victims, you cretin.”

The word “schlong” is a vulgar Yiddish slang term for male genitals.

Film and TV producer Franklin Leonard, shared the video with the caption, “Yes, that is indeed the inarguable takeaway from the Harvey Weinstein situation: “The king of the woke got schlonged.”
