Eagles’ Lane Johnson Exits Game With Concerning Injury

The Philadelphia Eagles are off to a hot start, as they have tush pushed their way to a 7-0 lead against the Los Angeles Rams. The issue is that the play may have cost them one of their best players.

All-Pro tackle Lane Johnson has exited the game, and it appears to be a concerning neck injury that has knocked him out of action.

Johnson has already been labeled as questionable to return, and it appears he spent a lot of time in the blue medical tent.

Losing Johnson would be tough to deal with, as he is one of the anchors on this solid Eagles offensive line.

Matt Pryor has taken over for Johnson, as he remains out of the game. So far, he has yet to head to the locker room, and it has grown more concerning since Johnson has remained in the blue medical tent since he was taken out of the game.

The Eagles are looking to continue their undefeated record thus far, but they have a tough challenge against a tough Rams team. That is especially true considering the stalwart pass rush that Los Angeles has.

Braden Fiske, Kobie Turner, Byron Young, and Jared Verse make up a young and dynamic front that is tough for most teams to deal with. Though the Eagles can hold their own with their strong offensive line play, losing Johnson will impact that line greatly.

The hope at this point would be that Johnson did not suffer anything very serious. He has been in the blue medical tent for an extended period.

Philadelphia might be able to hang strong without Johnson, but this Rams defense could become more suffocating as time continues.
