Eagles’ Nick Sirianni Yells at Buccaneers’ Baker Mayfield in Sideline Moment
Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni was certainly fired up for his team’s latest game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In fact, cameras showed him in a fiery sideline moment involving the opponents’ star quarterback.
A highlight clip features Baker Mayfield on the receiving end of some heated words from the Eagles coach, and then a strong non-visual message sent by one of Sirianni’s players.
The moment occurred in the game’s third quarter with Philadelphia leading 24-6. Mayfield was walking near the Eagles’ sideline, and Sirianni began yelling at him as he was walking by.
It’s unclear whether Mayfield said something first or after that, but a commentator indicated that Sirianni was jawing at Mayfield, as he’d been doing throughout the game.

However, as Mayfield continued walking past the sideline, Eagles safety Andrew Mukuba bumped into him as if to put him on notice about upcoming plays.
As seen in the video, this caused Mayfield to turn back and look at Mukuba before continuing to walk away.
Rinaldi said Sirianni “continued to jaw at [Mayfield] as he’s been doing all up and down that sideline all game.”
Surprisingly, Sirianni’s team had a decent lead at the time he was jawing with Mayfield. According to Rinaldi, Sirianni was attempting to fire up his team to maintain their consistent intensity against the 3-0 Buccaneers.
In the comment section, various commenters called out Sirianni for his seemingly explosive moment aimed at the opposing team’s quarterback.
“He’s so soft haha wild he’s a coach,” a commenter said.
“Only coach in football with a body guard…,” another individual wrote on X.
Others said, “eagles coach is a fake tough guy lol” and “Baker triggered him.”
“Sirianni talks smack but needs his body guard to protect him,” a commenter wrote.
As of this writing, the Eagles held a 31-23 lead in the fourth quarter, as they attempted to leave Tampa Bay still undefeated.
However, the Buccaneers were also looking to remain undefeated, and Sirianni’s trash-talking of Mayfield could also fire him up in his home venue.
