While Offerman has yet to officially sign with AEW, sources close to the company indicate that she’s likely to continue working with them in some capacity, per Fightful Select. However, details about her exact role within AEW remain unclear for now.

Offerman first captured the public’s attention in 2013 when she joined the cast of WWE Total Divas, alongside future WWE stars like The Bella Twins, Eva Marie, and Natalya.

Initially trained as a wrestler, Offerman made a brief in-ring appearance, but her real breakout came when she transitioned to ring announcing.

She honed her skills in WWE’s developmental territory, NXT, and eventually earned a call-up to the main roster in 2015. Over the next few years, she became the full-time ring announcer for WWE Raw, where she worked from 2016 to 2018.

Despite her prominence as a ring announcer, JoJo’s WWE career wasn’t limited to behind-the-mic roles.

She also participated in a few in-ring segments, most notably appearing in the 14-woman elimination match at Survivor Series 2013.

While there have been no indications that she’s interested in returning to active competition, Offerman remains a beloved figure in WWE history for her infectious energy and her presence on Raw and SmackDown.

After quietly leaving WWE in 2021, Offerman stepped away from the spotlight to focus on her personal life.

She and her late fiancé, Windham Rotunda (known to WWE fans as Bray Wyatt), raised two young children together before his tragic passing in August 2023.

While her future in the wrestling business seemed uncertain, her surprise appearance at AEW Collision suggests she may be ready for a new chapter.

Offerman is no stranger to music either—she has a background as a trained singer and was responsible for the theme song “Somebody Call My Momma” for WWE’s Tons of Funk tag team. Despite these diverse talents, she has mostly kept her focus on her family in recent years.

As for her future with AEW, sources suggest Offerman could be taking on more responsibilities in the company, though no concrete details have emerged about what that might entail.

Fans are eager to see what role she will play in AEW moving forward, but for now, it seems her involvement with the company is only just beginning.
