Right now, these teams sit third and fourth in the conference, but an LSU win would have the Tigers positioned to pounce if either Texas or South Carolina stumbles down the stretch, while a Kentucky win should essentially lock the team into a top-four spot. Tune in Sunday to see which team gets the win in this contest.

After a close loss to Texas last week, LSU rebounded with a 79-63 win over Georgia last time out. Flau’jae Johnson led the way with 21 points on 8-for-20 shooting in the win while two players recorded double-doubles. Sa’Myah Smith had 11 points and 12 rebounds while Jersey Wolfenbarger had 16 points and 12 rebounds. Wolfenbarger also blocked three shots in the victory.
Kentucky has won two in a row after losing to Texas, including Thursday night’s win over Missouri. The Wildcats won 73-65. Clara Strack led the team in scoring with 22 points while also pulling down 12 rebounds while Georgia Amoore added 19 points and five assists in the victory.
The Wildcats close the season with a tough stretch. After this game, the team hosts Tennessee before closing the year on the road against South Carolina.
