Oscar Piastri is fresh off a win at the Bahrain Grand Prix and will look to keep things rolling this Saturday. He is in second place in the F1 standings with 74 points. Piastri is three points behind his McLaren teammate Lando Norris, who came in third last weekend. The duo has combined for three wins and seven podiums this year.
Max Verstappen did not have the finish he wanted at Bahrain, picking up eight points with a sixth-place finish. He trails Norris by eight points and has not given up hope yet of catching the McLaren drivers.
If anyone can pull off the comeback, it is Verstappen and his Red Bull team. He is the four-time reigning F1 champion, and still might have enough gas in the tank to pull off the victory here.
The first two rounds of practices will take place on Friday, followed by one additional practice and the qualifier on Saturday, before the main event on Sunday.
