Injured WWE Superstar Could Make Television Return Soon

One of the most compelling storylines in professional wrestling is The Bloodline, which has fractured after Roman Reigns was defeated by Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.

Former enforcer Solo Sikoa now leads the faction, which boasts Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu as its members.

Still, fans don’t buy the new Bloodline, longing for the days when Reigns ruled over Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sikoa, and Paul Heyman with an iron fist.

Fortunately, it looks like this old Bloodline could form again with reports of an injured WWE Superstar’s return.

In a recent episode of the “Rikishi Fatu Off the Top” podcast, Jimmy Uso’s father Rikishi said that he thinks his son is “hopefully” ready to return after spending some time off of television due to an undisclosed injury.

“Jimmy is doing fine,” Rikishi said. “I think at any given moment, hopefully, that Jimmy will be ready to come back to be able to do what he loves. I’m sure he misses the fans, and I’m sure you all miss Jimmy.”

“He’s doing great. He’s got some time to be able to rest the body, rest the mind, and he’s ready to go. So hopefully we’re able to see Jimmy soon.”

This echoes the sentiment of Jimmy’s brother, Main Event Jey Uso, who said on “The Masked Man Show” that he will return to TV soon.

“I want to see him on TV. Like, if you really pay attention to Jimmy, Jimmy [is] funny as hell,” Jey said. “He started shining on SmackDown for a little bit, then he got hurt. I’m excited to see his character back on TV. How he is with Roman [Reigns] now. Even with me.”

Jimmy’s last match was at the second night of WrestleMania 40, losing to Jey in a Brother vs. Brother match.

While The Usos have most recently been rivals, their best work came working together as a tag team.

Jimmy and Jey Uso made their WWE debut with Florida Championship Wrestling in 2010. Soon, they made their television debut on May 24, 2010.

The Usos would go on to win seven total WWE Tag Team Championships. They hold the record for longest Tag Team Championship reign in WWE at 622 days.

If Jimmy makes his return, he could finally team up with his brother again and even join Roman Reigns and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in a Bloodline Battle Royal at Survivor Series 2024.
