Inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Romantic Italian Getaway
Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek’s network of contributors
The happy couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, are basking in a well-deserved getaway to Lake Como, amidst Swift’s brief hiatus from her European leg of the Eras Tour.
The Grammy-winning songstress and the NFL star were spotted taking a romantic stroll and sharing an intimate dinner in the Italian escape on Monday, May 13.
One day prior to their Italian vacation, Kelce joined Swift at her final Paris concert held at the La Défense Arena. They enjoyed a private candlelit dinner at the gardens of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, which is a lavish five-star resort renowned for its breathtaking views.
In the photos obtained, the pair was seen enjoying each other’s company, as they laughed and looked into each other’s eyes.
Their brief getaway provided a much-needed break in Swift’s Eras Tour schedule, spanning just four days before she heads to Stockholm, Sweden, to perform at the Friends Arena from May 17 to May 19.

“No one noticed Taylor’s presence on Lake Como,” an eyewitness shared with Page Six. “They walked in the night and had romantic candlelit dinners. They seem in love and happy.”
During the Eras show attended by Kelce, Swift subtly acknowledged his presence, weaving tokens of appreciation throughout her performance. With a nod to his jersey number, 87, she marked the milestone as her 87th show of the tour. Additionally, in a subtle homage to Kelce’s team, the Chiefs, she wore their signature colors during the 1989 section of the tour.
For the European leg, Swift switched up the set list to include selections from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, released in April. She notably debuted “So High School,” a track speculated by fans to be an ode to Kelce. Swift looked at the direction he was sitting during the performance and even blew a kiss. Adding to the intrigue, she surprised attendees with “The Alchemy,” another song rumored to reflect their relationship.
