Internet Can’t Cope With Dog and Cow’s Adorable Friendship: ‘Her Baby’

It’s no secret that dogs can make friends quite easily, but as it turns out, that doesn’t just apply to their own species. The adorable friendship between a farm dog and a cow has delighted the internet, as social media users are obsessed with the unlikely duo.

While TikTok user Ali regularly documents her life on the farm on social media (@dakotafunnyfarm), it’s the videos of Daisy the cow and Sergeant the dog that capture the most attention. That’s because Daisy and Sergeant may not be the same animals, but they have developed an extraordinary bond.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s time for a nap in the sun, time to play, or to run around the fields, because this inseparable duo will undoubtedly be side by side throughout.

In a recent TikTok video, Daisy and Sergeant can be seen lying together on the porch, grooming one another’s fur, munching on the grass and even playing around in the snow. Despite their differences in size and species, they’re still the best of friends.

The caption layered over the footage reads: “Here’s your sign to get your dog a cow.”

Internet users can’t cope with the adorable duo, and the video has gone viral with over 1.5 million views and more than 148,000 likes on TikTok at the time of writing.

Newsweek has contacted @dakotafunnyfarm via TikTok for comment. We could not verify the details of the video.

The friendship between Daisy and Sergeant didn’t just happen overnight though, as they’ve actually been companions since the very early days. Sergeant is 2 years old, and he was just a young pup when Daisy was born six months after him. Older videos show the border collie cuddling up to Daisy when she was only a calf. Back then, they were a similar size, but within a matter of weeks, Daisy was substantially larger than her canine bestie.

Nevertheless, their bond remains and they still love being in each other’s company.

In fact, seeing how much Daisy likes to nurture and protect Sergeant has left Ali wondering if she thinks the dog “is her baby.”

It’s safe to say that many social media users can’t cope with how sweet the unlikely friends are together, leading to more than 2,700 comments on the viral TikTok post.

One comment reads: “Soul twins across species.”

Another TikTok user wrote: “This is one of the most beautiful bonds I’ve seen between two different animals.”

Another person replied: “She thinks it’s her baby.”

While one commenter added: “you know, they even look alike.”
