Internet Can’t Cope With Puppy Who Walks Owner to Elevator Every Day

Users on social media can’t get over a dachshund puppy named Tini, who walks her owner to the elevator on his way to work every single morning.

In a viral TikTok video shared on Wednesday, under the username @littlebabytini, the small puppy from Dallas can be seen following her dad to the elevator as he leaves for work in the morning, running back home when he’s out of sight.

“POV [point of view]: your puppy walks your boyfriend to the elevator every morning for work,” reads layover text in the clip. “Have a good day!!” the caption says.

Most dogs have a favorite human, and while in this video Tini is clearly biased toward her dad, it is not always their primary caregiver, in fact, it can be anyone in their life they look up to, from their dog walker to their grandma.

Kait Hembree, veterinary behavior nurse and head of training and behavior specialist at GoodPup, previously told Newsweek that when your dog loves you, they will show clear signs.

Often they try their best just to be near you, including strategically leaning in or using other methods such as jumping on you to try to get your attention. They may also wiggle at you; rub their face on yours; or keep eye contact with you.

Being relaxed around you; following you everywhere; sleeping near you; and just generally acting affectionate are also big telltale signs that you might just be your pup’s favorite person in the world.

If you don’t think that you are your pup’s number one human, don’t worry! You can easily become so by strengthening your bond with them.

You can do so by spending more quality time with them engaging in activities that you know they truly enjoy; providing them with all the love and care they need; and establish a daily routine that keeps them safe and secure, says Georgia-based veterinarian Dr. Jess Kirk on Vet Explains Pets.

The video quickly went viral on social media and it has so far received over 3.8 million views and 911,500 likes on the platform.

One user, Chris, commented: “See, I’d be so tempted to just take her to work. sit on my shoulder, fix computers with me.”

Ceecee824 said: “My doxie would have a complete meltdown lol she’s obsessed with dad.”

E-ma added: “I think I would cry every time I watched the elevator doors close on him he’d be coming with me.”

Newsweek reached out to @littlebabytini for comment via TikTok comments. We could not verify the details of the case.
