During President Donald Trump’s high-stakes trip to the Middle East, he announced on Wednesday he will be lifting sanctions against Syria “in order to give them a chance at greatness.” Meanwhile, Iran is reacting to Trump’s offer of an “olive branch” with a top Iranian leader saying “A deal is still possible. If they do what they say, we can definitely have better relations with the U.S.” NBC’s Richard Engel reports for TODAY from Tehran.
